I'm a bootstrapped founder myself and I made all the mistakes that I mentioned in this article.
I believe when you're bootstrapping a startup, the first most vital thing is to find a strong product-market fit. And to do so, you need to iterate faster than anyone else to get customer feedback. You can do this using prototypes and MVPs alone.
I'm not suggesting to over-architect your product before finding the product market fit. But once you've got all the market validation, you'll need to think long-term.
